    so i am trying to run gta san andreas and its the only gta game i can do because of my pc's storage but when i try to run the game it says need atleast 9.0 direct x i am on windows 11 pro i tried 3 methods like legacy components and direct play then downloading direct x 9.0 directly then renaming a dll that doesn't exist in my pc these are the methods i tried to do for it to work nothing happened i even tried to reinstall it restart my pc and ask chat gpt nothing happened

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    GTA San Andreas is a 20+ year old game and most likely, it will not work on Windows 11, it is just too old.

    You can try installing the DirectX 9 runtime form the link below, then restart your PC and try ruining the game in compatibility mode for XP or Windows 7, if that is not successful, that game will not run on Windows 11.
