Windows 10: H24H2 upgrade broke my WSL Ubuntu an issue with AMD based processors, i guess

I did 2 upgrades to H24h2 these past 3 days and used a system restore to go back to H23H2 as nothing could fix my WSL issues, nor could i use the WSL Ubuntu after the upgrade, would throw up errors of all kind, nothing could help me with that who else is facing the same issue?Here are the errors: 1 Error code: Wsl/Service/CreateInstance/CreateVm/ConfigureNetworking/HNS/E_ACCESSDENIED[I tried troubleshooting it with playing with services, disabling and enabling WSL, nothing worked!]2 failed to register the Ubuntu distribution due to an access denied error 0x80070005[I already was the admin

Hi,

Does setting version 1 as the default help?

• wsl --set-default-version 1
  

Or, try installing it from Microsoft Store.

• Click this Store app link for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

Upgrade to WSL 2

I installed WSL using `wsl --install`. It installed WSL 1 not 2. In the meantime I loaded Ubuntu and made several customizations there. Can I upgrade to WSL 2 and preserve this Ubuntu dstribution?

 

Ubuntu Linux on WSL will not use Internet

I have asked for the last 3 weeks for help from Ubuntu for the Ubuntu app in the store. My desktop has no issues using the Internet no matter where I go. However, for the last approximately 4 weeks the Ubuntu WSL will not access the Internet at
all. Using apt-get update/upgrade, wget, curl, anything simply comes back as "Unable to access <whatever> site. Please try later." I have checked hosts, host.allow, host.deny, all are empty except for the normal comments. I have deleted/reinstalled
Ubuntu, deleted/turned off WSL/rebooted/used disk cleanup/turned on WSL/rebooted/reinstalled Ubuntu and nothing helps. Please, someone help me with this issue before I delete windows entirely and set it up as SUSE or Fedora only. Thank you
for any help/clues you can give me because Canonical doesn't seem to care.
