Windows 10: Hacked by so called Microsoft representative

This individual froze my new surface tricked me an 80 yr old female he could fix and had me open a page with 4 short lines on top left,remove 2 lines,replace with other info then press control,alt,del whereby he was in. Said someone had hacked me perhaps and Microsoft needed me to not tell anyone as they would not be able to trace them. Given name Arran,agent 1537 popup phone no. 1 888 401 0727. Opened google page to Microsoft site with phone no and called me on my cell to assure me he was a legitimate Microsoft representative. There is a lot more but too much to go into. Fortunately my antennae kept going up and before he obtained all my info to banking i cut him off. Had to have con

Computer wiped and install very strong

Virus. This has made I'll. Having to lock bank acct and everything else available to me. Now in touch with fraud squad in canada. He was located in usa.

Phone Call from Microsoft Representative

I just had a phone call from someone with a heavy accent stating he represents Microsoft and my computer reflects a problem? He wants me to go to google and input www.helpme.net, is this legitimate??

 

Calls from Microsoft regarding hacking

Hi,

I am receiving calls from some one claiming from microsoft telling that my system is been hacked and asking further details to

secure my system. I feel it is a scam, but to make sure i want to know does microsoft call people to inform any abnormalities in their system.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
