Windows 10: hacked- very very badly - PLEASE HELP US!

Hello all,


I am in dire need of assistance, I don't know how it was done originally but for my last 2 phones and 2 computers, the 2nd computer just bought last week and spent 3 hours with Microsoft tech support remote connection to find the source of corruption to computer/os that was present on 1st login- ended up doing a clean install windows 10, 3 days later I am being remotely logged into and my files and pictures are being edited and destroyed - We are quite sure that we know exactly who is behind these attacks but we don't know what information we should be looking for or how to translate it back to trace the attacks back to our suspected attacker.... any help would be greatly appreciated- I have a great deal of evidence from event logs to pictures as well as multiple witnesses whom have seen the attacks/hacking taking place real time - but don't know where to begin in order to identify a source and contact law enforcement- thanks in advance for any help anybody can offer, we are getting desperate and it is more frustrating than I ever thought possible!!

Email Hacked

thank you for your response and the great information you provided.

I use two step authentication for my email account and all important web sites. I also use the full version of Malwarebytes to protect my computer.

But I will do the scans you suggested AdwCleaner and Limewire.com and let you know the results.

I am worried though that the webcam installed on my laptop could have been hacked. I never use it and forgot about it, so never disabled it.

Any suggestions as to find if it was actually hacked?

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
