Windows 10: Hacker sent me a mail demanding $1500 in bitcoin, saying they have webcam videos and hacked...

Hi, I seem to have got caught up in the scam that is mentioned on this forum whereby a hacker says they have been tracking me for months then demands $1500 butcoin in 48hrs or theyll send out mails with info / webcam videos etc. of me. I searched for unusual apps and found remote desktop apps on my pc, laptop and phone. I have since deleted these and am now taking steps to change passwords / reset router etc. Reading similar experiences I am inclined to just ignore all this, however I noticed yesterday that a whole load of new contacts had been added to my.phone contacts list. i keep recieving emails from myself,telling me my password and saying that i have been on adult sites and they have photo shots of me threw my camera and are demanding i pay £842 in bitcoins??

Microsoft account hacked and primary mail changed by hacker on Windows 11

Hi,

I got the account verified by Microsoft and I did receive a mail to my current email address with a link to reset the password.. However what Microsoft seems to not understand is I do not have ACCESS to the e-mail that the HACKER changed my Microsoft account to..

They say in the mail that an "additional" password reset has been sent to "this" e-mail as well.. If they sent it to the email the hacker used as well as mine then the hacker will just reset it and I will not be able to access it again..

Which is what I'm experiencing currently because clicking the link, after waking up this morning, says the password reset session is invalid and I need to request a new code..

I am unable to recover the account despite being verified.
