Windows 10: Had a pop up screen that locked my computer. I called the number on the screen but didn’t...

Suffered a hacking attempt - where my screen was locked and a number popped up saying it was from Microsoft and that I had a virus. My mouse was locked up. Also, the screen gave a number to call. I called the number , but only told them my model number on my computer. Got a number from them and a contact code number for the individual woman - that part seemed almost legit then I hung up. Now what? BTW . If you call the number that popped onto my screen you can still get a real person. 833 289-0081. Thought that was odd. I haven’t tried the other number that the original contac

Emergency Numbers on Lock Screen

What I would like is on the lock screen a option/button that will list emergency contacts with out requiring unlocking the phone. This could be a custom list or pulled from People, leave this to designers, Why?

There is a system called "ICE" In "Case of Emergency" call. This is used by emergency responders to contact find your emergency contacts in case of a tragic situation. If the phone is locked they cannot not see whom to contact, I list mine in "People"
starting with ICE - Name but have to not lock the phone. If a short list could be displayed with minimum data , i.e. Wife - Name, Son - Name and they press on that and the phone calls the number.

This would be a great help to emergency personal and people who suffer and accident.

The emergency call button could give an option of the list.

 

Enable calling with locked screen

A very useful feature I saw on ohter phones is the ability to specify a list of emergency numbers that can be called even when the phone screen is locked.

Is this feature available for the Nokia X?

If yes, how to enable it?

 

Black screen after lock screen

I have been running Windows 10 from the beginning. I have the latest update (1803) on my PC (x64).

I switch on my PC. I get the lock screen where I put in my pin number, it goes blue with "wait a minute" then goes black. I can get the task manager using ctrl-alt-delete. Sometimes I get Advanced System Care popping up to let me know my boot speed. I tried system restore using Advanced System Care when it pops up and I can access the complete programme. Didn`t work.

I still got black screen in safe mode so couldn't continue with next step. I tried uninstalling latest update but it is showing "it has occurred a problem and couldn't uninstall"
