    Sorry for lengthy title.

So, my gaming PC completely broke recently, include the harddrive where the OS was. I originally thought I had access to a Windows 10 pro key, so I downloaded the Windows 10 pro ISO file from the media creation tool on the Microsoft website. Unfortunately, I realized I did not have a key, so I purchased a Windows 10 home key from Microsoft. I then downloaded the Windows 10 home ISO from the media creation file, and used the key I got from Microsoft.

It worked, but unfortunately it seems the Windows 10 pro files are on the computer still, but it still defaults to home so it launches the activated version.

My question is, what is the safest and easiest method of removing the Windows 10 pro files without removing any of the files from my active Windows 10 home installation?

Will give clarification on anything needed, not the most computer literate but good at following instructions/googling.

  3. Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
    Step 1
    reinstall windows from scratch
    Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
    Step 3
    update windows
    Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
    Step 5
    Install GPU drivers
    Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

    Update Broke Computer Need Help!

    Windows 10 Upgrade
According to this list, your PC isn't on Acer's approved list for Win 10. Could you check that?

This is an older PC which came with Win 7. Have you ever clean installed Win 10 on it?

    • AMD Athlon II X2 255 Dual Core Processor
    • Windows 7 Professional
    • 2GB DDR3 RAM
    • 320GB HDD
    • DVD Rewriter
    • Integrated Graphics
    • PS.VB1E3.082

We can only proceed step by step.

So chkdsk and SFC /Scannow are ok. But any attempt to reset your PC or run DISM fails.

Is this what you tried? I'm not 100% clear what the above means. Clean install or this procedure?
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade - Windows 10 Forums

If you tried this, it's possible it failed as you need (it seems) some 500Mb of unallocated space on your hard disk.
