    had to replace mother board. unable to locate product key for activating windows


    as the title says, i had to replace my motherboard due to a lightning strike, now i am unable to activate widnows. i've followed the steps to use the troubleshooter and it doesn't help. shouldn't my key be saved to my microsoft account? can someone please help?

    Unable to activate Windows after changing Mother board.

    Unable to activate Windows after changing Mother board. There was an update installed from Windows Store related to Intel storage, after restarting Windows Mother board BIOS was damaged. Since Motherboard was under Warranty, replaced it now cannot activate
    Windows 10.

    Replacing Mother Board

    I need to replace my mother board. I have purchased the identical replacement. I want replace the mother board and use the same old Processor. Processor is i7 6700K and the motherboard is ASUS Z170. Is it possible to replace the Mother board without re installing
    the Windows and software.

    Changed mother board cant activate windows

    I had the mother board changed and I am unable to activate windows. the sticker with my product key is partially torn and I cant use that. How do I get windows activated.
