Windows 10: Had to turn off S-Mode to allow manufacturer updates

My new Lenovo laptop with Windows 11 S had been working fine for several months, then the keyboard and touchpad began acting crazy - either not functioning at all or behaving as if all the keys were reprogrammed. Restarts corrected this, but the problem increased in frequency from once a week to almost daily. Today it happened three times in a three hour period. I tried Lenovo Support to download updates to Bios and Drivers but Win S blocked installation of their required app. I had no choice but to disable S-Mode to get the required updates.After a system restart, I checked for Windows upda

Method 1: Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
  
• Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter and Network Adapter troubleshooter

Method 2. Try updating network adapter

Try updating the Network Adapter drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the Network Adapter drivers:

a. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

b. Expand Network Adapter.

c. Right-click on the Ethernet and click on Update driver software.

d. Restart the computer and check.

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.
