    i had to uninstall two updates KB5037591 & KB5037771 as it causes win 11 to freeze with beeping sound, both updates were released may 15th 2024Sorry Microsoft but either one of these updates causes my intel core i-9 PC with 128GB ddr 4 system to crash multiple times a day with a beeping sound if you click the mouse. since I uninstalled them the system is way more stable. please remove the automatic update for both of those until you debug and fix

    Windows Hello lock screen won't auto dismiss after waking up from sleep on KB5037771

    Hi Zev,

    It seems there were two May 14th updates, KB5037771 and KB5037591, I uninstalled the latter first and restarted but the issue persisted, then did the same with the former and the auto dismissal after waking from sleep worked again. KB5037771 was the culprit after all, I guess my only solution now is pausing updates indefinitely?

    KB5037591 Causing BSOD

    I installed this update yesterday on my machine which is P3 Ultra. Today in the morning I had repeated BSODs. Yesterday I am assuming the update was successful but I did "update and shutdown".

    I rolled back using the recovery options to a date (10th of May) and that did not fix the issue. In the recovery options then, I uninstalled an update (it did not show me what it was uninstalling) and it has removed KB5037591 & moved me back to KB5036620.

    The computer now appears to be working fine. No BSODs since then. They were very frequent in the morning like every other minute.. couldn't do anything.

    My question is, is there anything in this update that can be causing this to happen? I have Lenovo also investigating the issue but I wanted to see if anyone else has faced the same and / or reported to Microsoft as I cannot find how to do that.

    I am also confused why the roll-back didn't work and "uninstalling" the update seemed to have solved the issue. I have paused updates for 5 weeks now and wondering what will happen when it re-installs these updates again.....

    KB4517389 causes Win 10 freeze

    I use laptop Asus TP203NAH. Win 10 update KB4517389 causes the laptop keeps on freezing. I even upgraded my HDD to SSD. It doesn't work. The laptop keeps on freezing. I uninstalled the update, then the laptop stopped freezing. So, I use KB4524147. It works
    well. Please fix this on the next update.
