    Half circle in top and bottom right screen: affecting mouse abilities?


    I have a half circle that appeared yesterday, about half an inch in the lower right corner of my screen. Since then, I have noticed that my mouse and keyboard occasionally quit working. My computer still works, but I'm concerned this could be a virus.Does anyone aknow what the issue is? bknow a solution that doesn't require a brand new computer?thank you!

    Moving half circle at the top of screen along with hyper blinking mouse.

    Please educate me. I am currently running windows 10 with to screens. Recently I found the mouse pointer was going mad and blinking rapidly to the point of not seeing it. Now I can select items using good guess and icons changing. within the last day I
    have found what I believe is a circle at the top right of the main screen with what looks to be a small pointer inside the circle. However, I can only view half of the perceived circle. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Joe. B

    mouse is not working right


    unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

    Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
    Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
    Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
    You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

    If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.

    Small gray transparent icon floating on top right screen

    Hi, just updated to windows 11 on my Microsoft Surface Pro 7. There is this small gray floating half circle on top right if my screen. My mouse does not work and when I touch this gray circle a box opens up as follows:

    Sort by

    Refresh

    New

    Display settings

    Personalize

    Open in terminal

    Show more options.

    I CANNOT get rid of this box or gray circle.

    Please help
