Windows 10: Halo 2 GFWL Activation

I bought halo 2 vista second hand but when i try to activate it , it says that the product key was used too many times, Anybody can supply me with a new key?

Halo 2 activation

There is no demo for Halo 2, and any GFWL key will work for any GFWL game from what i hear.

 

Halo 2 for windows Vista - Profile not Completely downloaded

I'm am trying to play Halo 2 for Windows Vista on Windows 10. I got the game to run but I can't play the game without signing in to Games for Windows Live(GFWL), and i can't sign in. when i try to sign in it says "Your profile was not completely downloaded.
Please delete it and sign in again. You may have to restart your game before deleting your profile". I can't find a way to make a GFWL account. What i have looked up suggests selecting create a new profile in the home area. But in my game the home button is
unclickable.

 

Halo 2 on windows 7,8,10 - Common Problems

Hello Guys! I know many of us are big fans of Halo 2. Dont be sad that Halo 2 cant be played on windows 7.8.10. Actually Halo 2 works!!! But we have few or many problems,so ill describe the problems below
with their solutions.

*System Requirements*

RAM : 2 GB Minimum (To check, go to run, type "dxdiag")

Required OS : Windows XP, Windows Vista Windows 7, Windows 8,8.1 and Windows 10 (To check, right click on This PC or computer and click "Properties"

Computer's processor score : 3 or higher required

Computer's graphics score : 3 or higher required

Video memory : 128 Megabytes or higher required

Supported pixel shader version : 2 or higher required

Supported vertex shader version : 2 or higher required

(To check the computer`s processor score, graphics score, video memory. supported pixel shader version and supported vertex version.then Click Start, Control Panel, System and Maintenance, and Performance Information and Tools.)

Halo 2 for Windows Vista is designed for computers running Microsoft Windows Vista with an overall Windows Experience Index of 5 or higher.

1. dll Problems

dll such as d3d9.dll , xinput1_3.dll and other dll files can be found in our pc itself go to "This PC\C:\Windows\System32" and find your dll files or just find it directly by typing the file name into the searchbox eg : d3d9.dll . type even .dll to find
it more easier. The files which can`t be located in System 32 can be downloaded online. what u have to do is just make 2 copy of the downloaded dll and paste one in your system32 folder and the other in your Halo2 folder.


2. GFWL Problems

Mostly everyone gets a problem of Xlive.dll or "LIVE GAMING on Windows Failed to Initialize. This maybe because Another LIVE GAMING on Windows Application. (Such as the Halo Dedicated Server) is running
on the same machine . Otherwise reinstalling the game may fix this problem." To fix this
problem don`t download the latest version of GFWL ! because it wont work on windows 10. so download from here

Xbox Support

*Remember uninstall ur previous Gaming for Windows and the Marketplace before installing new gfwl setup, and even delete your gfwl folders if present in your pc.*

3. Launching Problems

In the end when all things are done. People usually get problems that, files are missing , or system is not capable. etc... This is because u really dont have correct files. This mostly happens when u download halo2 (Buying the CD would not have this problem).
U must uninstall your "Halo 2"!!! and Download Halo 2 again online. It must consist its orignal setup and files. Than only it can work. (Suggest to get full halo 2 is Torrent Search Engine). *Beware of Virus*

OR

Well Halo 2 usually occurs these problems even when your system does not meets the requirements. Please Read the above requirements first or u will waste 15 GB space and Internet.
