Windows 10: Hand and Arrow Pointer Won't Go Away When Watching Videos

This used to happen intemittently. Now it happens all the time.


When watching videos on Amazon, the hand just stays there on the screen. I have to bring it all the way down to the taskbar, where it changes to an arrow.


When watching videos on YouTube, the arrow stays on the screen the whole time.


Really aggravating and distracting. I often like to click backward on videos, so having to scroll the mouse all the way up is a pain. And wears out my trackball!'


Running Windows 10. Doesn't matter what browser I use; happens on all of them. Desktop computer.


I have no idea what category to post this in. That list was written for computer techs, not your average user.

My cursor pointer changes to hand

I did go to the place where you suggested, and all it shows is the straight cursor and the arrow pointer. That box is already clicked.

Sounds like if I want to have the arrow pointer, I have to use the mouse?

Open PC settings.

Step 2: Choose Ease of Access to enter its settings.

Step 3:Click Mouse, and choose new pointer size and color in the options.

Way 2: Change Mouse Pointer size and color in Mouse Properties.

Step 1: Click the lower-right Start button, type mouse in the search box and select Mouse in the results to open Mouse Properties.

Step 2: Tap Pointers, click down arrow, choose a scheme from the list and select OK.

Can't watch videos on Win 10
