Windows 10: Handheld PCs being used as a PC companion/controller built-in.

Now Imagine you a gamer just bought the new ROG ally wouldn't it be awesome to remote to your gaming PC natively? It'd be cool in 2 ways... 1. You can take it anywhere in your house or on the go. Or 2. You can use it as an controller! turning off the screen of the handheld... does this sound like a good idea?
