Windows 10: Hands free telephony deactivating my microphone

I got a PC from a friend. It is a win10 and has a bluetooth adapter. I use my bluetooth headphones with my laptop without any problems, but when I connect it on the PC, and enter a call on Discord or other communication software, I can only hear Discord and nothing else. I disabled hands free telephony on printers and devices, and now the earbuds microphone isn't detected, and I can only hear and not talk. Btw, I don't remember the settings I put, but with hands free telephony on I could hear a little bit of other softwares, but with really poor quality.Anyways, my laptop is now a win11, but I

This tip is unfortunately not useful.

As I described already, the MICROPHONE has low quality.

I want to use it in video conferencing calls live Google meet or others.

But the sound format for the microphone are so bad.

And in your tip, the guy does deactivate the Microphone:. Here is what he says:

Note:
After disabling Hands-free Telephony, you can't use the mic on video conferencing calls.

To use the mic, enable "Hands-free Telephony".

So still no solution unfortunately

 

Permanent solution low quality audio hands-free telephony

Over the past couple of years I have had a problem that i haven't been able to find a suitable solution for. I use a Bluetooth headset for everyday use, alongside a dedicated microphone. But when I connect my headset, programs (for example games and other programs utilizing voice chat) automatically switch my headset to hands-free telephony mode. This, however, causes my audio quality to lower to the point I cannot use it anymore. I have seen a lot of people online telling me to go to devices and printers and disable the hands-free telephony service or disable my headsets hands-free device in the sound devices, this does NOT work because it reenables it once my headset reconnects. Is there a solution available to disable all hands-free telephony features permanently. I am willing to do everything and beyond to stop this problem from reoccurring again.

 

How to fix Windows 11 Bluetooth Microphone Not Working When Hands Free Telephony is Disabled?

Hey, I recently got a pair of Skull Candy Hesh Evo Wireless/Bluetooth headphones. Upon using them on Windows 11 I noticed that my audio quality was really bad. I did some investigating and found that whenever I was using the microphone alongside the audio (so both input and output) of the headphones the audio quality would decrease. I eventually found a solution which was disabling hands free telephony. This however opened up another issue. Now when I try and use both the input and output of the headphones simulatineously my output (microphone) doesn't register or function. I've used these headphones with Windows 10 without issue and on my phone and macbook aswell. This seems to be a Windows 11 issue. Just incase this could be useful information I am on a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3. I've tried countless fixes suggested both here and in other forums but none of them worked. These included things such as: Reinstalling all my audio related drivers and updating them. Permanently disabling hands-free telephony via my system settings. Restarting my computer and checking for any updates. And finally factory resetting my computer. None of these fixes have worked, if anyone could provide some insight to this I would greatly appreaciate it as I am out of options!
