    Hanging at Getting ready during reinstall of windows.


    Recent inability to boot Intel NUC 8i5BEH1. Error message "no bootable device." Diagnosing PC and automatic repair did not work,

    The 1 TB Hard disk drive was checked and errors fixed using another PC. Diagnosing and automatic repair still did not work, reinstalled windows 10 home using flash drive created from another PC. When instructed to restart rebooted from flash dirve again, removed USB flash drive before restarting and install proceeded until hanging at "Getting ready."

    Any ideas?

    Hanging at Getting ready during reinstall of windows.

    Windows Update suddenly hangs?

    Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

    I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?
