hanging on upgrade from 14291 to 14295?

keeps hanging at 22% progress (still in the copying files phase).
    powered off.
it rebooted and reverted to 14291.
then i restart the process again and eventually ends up back at the 22% problem.

    Anyone else having this issue?

What can I do or just wait for the next one?

    Thanks.

    :)

Windows firewall exception to allow Store to download APP when it's blocking them.

Thank you for answering, checked all of that and still the same problem. Just received 14291 upgrade but no dice.

    Windows 10 ISO Build #

I wish Microsoft would include the build number in the ISO download files so you can tell which build is actually downloading. I'm new to the Insider program and used the Media Creation Tool to download both 32 and 64 bit ISO files, thinking I was getting
Build 14291. I then wasted a couple hours "upgrading" a 64-bit system from 10586 to find out it was still at 10586. I've since upgraded 2 systems (32 & 64-bit) to 14291 using the Windows Update function. I could have saved a lot of wasted time & 2 blank DVD's
if the build number was shown on the downloads.

hanging on upgrade from 14291 to 14295?

No guarantees, but this appears on a Microsoft Answers thread:

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...3aee7fb?page=2

and 12 users have found it helpful:

Since you have rolled back to 14291, just open an admin command prompt and type:

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

    then repeat the upgrade attempt.

The logic to this is that at about 22-25%, it's unclear exactly when, because some fast machines zip thru this part of setup, and the next reboot to 30% occurs. If the first bit of setup has corrupted the BCD, or cannot work with the existing BCD due to some problem, it cannot continue to the reboot, so it rolls back, reverting the BCD to the backup BCD - (which will not work with setup!)

Break the cycle by rebuilding the BCD. Then re-run the upgrade.
