Windows 10: Hard Disk run at 100% Usage after Windows 10 2004 -KB4565503 Build 19041.388 update

After Windows 10 2004 -KB4565503 Build 19041.388 update, My hard disk has been running on 100% usage even at the start-up, while no other applications are running in the background. Windows after running for sometime crashes with a blue screen and then it takes a lot of time to restart the system. Also, Task manager whenever open is not responding for some time, this might be because of Disk running at 100% I assume. Today, I checked the reliability report, it seems to be declining after the update itself.

Can anyone help me?

Windows 10 2004 NO installation of Windows Update KB4565503 - continuous looping

First of all many many thanks for your help.

I tried all your suggestions but unfortunately no one worked!

Then I installed ex-novo a fresh new copy of windows 10 using a USB key created with Windows Media Creation Tool,

in this way I got a clean copy of Windows 10 2004 build 19041.264, I updated it to build 19041.388 with KB4565503 and all worked fine!

Unfortunately this is not a good solution because you must rebuild your computer ex-novo!

I tried again with an old Windows 10 backup 2004 build 19041.207, I updated it to build 19041.329 then update again to build 19041.388 with KB4565503 and all worked fine!

Conclusion: it seems that the problem to install KB4565503 arises if you updated manually your Windows 10 to build 19041.330 (KB4566866) or to build 19041.331 (KB4565503) – pls notes that these 2 KB was issued outside of Windows Update in order to
fix PrinterSpooler problem.

It fails to install after automatic download, if i go to update history it shows failed to install with the error code 0x80070003.

If I try manual (from the microsoft download center) it will download but during the install it stops and tells me it is already installed.

W.T.F how to fix?

I am running: Win 10 x64bit, (OS)

AMD A10-6800 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 4.10GHz (Processor)

32.0GB (RAM)

 

Email does not work after an "update"

After the 7/14/2020 patch Tuesday update: Windows 10 email fails to run.

Click on the icon in the start menu or my pinned task bar... nothing happens.

• Winver (which is inconveniently not scrape-able) Windows 10, Version 2004 OS Build 19041.388
• Mail App, (Outlook works fine)
• Yes, I'm forced to use another client or web browser
• No error, nothing happens here
• (another interface I cannot copy from)
  • KB4565627 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 2004
  • KB4565503 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based Systems (OS Build 19041.388)
  • Successfully installed on 7/15/2020
