    Hard drive activity keeps staying at 100%. The response time always stays at about 400 ms


    Hi I have a three year old laptop that is using a seagate 1 TB hard drive and it's getting more and more sluggish and make my computer function slowly. The time required to boot the laptop even reaches more than five minutes. there is once it even shows a blue screen with a stop code SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION. Can I know what to do to solve it?


    Pc configuration:

    Intel i5-8250U

    8GB RAM

    Hard Drive activity at constant 100%

    Hi Ben,

    While it is very unlikely that the OneDrive is at fault here, please do let us know once the upload is done and see if your HD activity still stays at %100. We'll then see other options and troubleshooting steps that would be appropriate.

    We'll keep an eye out to your response.

    Whoops, this thread had alot of new replies since last time I checked in.

    Thank you all for your suggestions but I already made my choice after few replies to stay with my 980 Ti, sorry for no response heh.
