Windows 10: Hard drive constantly at 100% utilisation

Discus and support Hard drive constantly at 100% utilisation in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; My hard drive is always on 100% utilisation as soon as I start up my PC.     Hard drive constantly at 100% utilisation


    My hard drive is always on 100% utilisation as soon as I start up my PC. I have turned off all start up apps, and I my PC is idling and yet it's at 100% utilisation. It's frustrating!

    I would appreciate it if someone knows what is going on.

    there is only 3 on there that need to stay on which is AMD Catalyst for your graphics & the 2 HD audio but even 1 of them can be turned off

    Can you now show msconfig / services - & tick the box to hide all Microsoft services

    With Skype & Microsoft 1 Drive you can turn them off within their settings.

    Also 8gb of ram may be better as your pc may be using your hard drive to perform operations if your ram is full ?
