    Hard drive crash


    I purchased my surface 4 years ago. One evening surface worked great. The next morning it wouldnt turn on unless i had power cord attached. It ran horribly skie in addition. After one hour on the phone with tech support i was told my surface warrenty ended 1 year ago. My hard drive crashed for no reason. I have never taken the surface out if my house, was always plugged into surge protecter, never dropped or exposed to sun, water, etc...They offered me a refurbashed surface for $450 as mine is not repairable. I am so upset about this. Horrible customer service and horrible product. I wii never purchase another microsoft product. I now have no pc to use. I am going to use my daughters apple laptop that is 12 years old and runs perfectly. I give this product zero stars.

    Overclock your hard drive!!!

    Heres a much easier hack that I realized quite a few years ago that really does work!

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Hard drive with molex power connection.
    • PSU with more than 1 strand that has molex plugs on it.
    • Wire strippers, soldering iron if you're fancy, electrical tape if you're not.
    STEPS:
    • Take the strand of connectors from your PSU, and decide which one will be the donator for this overclocking adventure.
    • Cut the yellow and orange cables, then twist them together.
    • Find the power connector you've chosen as the overclocking connector, and release the orange cable from the connector. Now use your preferred method to bind them together, then place it back together.
    • Plug in a drive and feel the speed!
    Congratulations! You've just overclocked your hard drive!
