Windows 10: hard drive crashed. need win 10 pro product key

my hard drive crashed. it had Win 10 Home free upgrade from Win 7, plus I paid $99 for the upgrade to Pro.


I bought a new computer with Win 10 home. I need the product key from my purchase of Pro for the new computer

Reloading Windows 10 Pro after a hard drive crash

My ASUS G60 laptop hard drive crashed. I bought a new SSD and plan to install it. The computer started out as a Win 7 Pro machine, migrated to Win 8 Pro, and finally Win 10 Pro. I found the product key for Windows 8 Pro but not Windows 10. How do I got
about reinstalling Windows 10 Pro? Does Microsoft keep some sort of list of machines that have Windows 10 Pro on them so I can install and it will look up my product key? Thanks.

Win 10 pro product key

I have an old laptop I got with Win 8.1 then upgraded to Win 10 PRO. The laptop is dying so I bought another new one with Win 10 HOME on it and I want to transfer the product key from the old one to the new one. I do no have an email with the Win 10
PRO key. Can I find it on the laptop hard drive somewhere?

 

Win 10 Pro upgrade using Win 8 Pro product key

I just bought a new computer running Win 10 Home. When I went to upgrade to Win 10 Pro using my Win 8 Pro product key from my old computer, the upgrade wouldn't activate.

Now I'm stuck with a bunch of error messages (mainly 0xC004C003) and am being told windows isn't activated. I can't seem to get my activated Win 10 Home back.

I don't have a product key for the Win 10 Home because it came pre-installed. There's no product code recorded on the packaging or labelling on the device.

So:

How do I either

• activate the Win Pro upgrade, or
• Get my activated Win 10 home back?
