    Hard drive failed; need help re-installing Windows on new one


    My old hard drive failed and I've ordered a new one. I know that it won't have Windows installed on it.


    Since my computer was running Windows 10, if I get an install disc for Windows 10 will my computer be able to recognize that I've already had it installed with a key there before? How does this work?


    Or how would I find my product key without being able to get access onto my computer?

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
