    Hard Drive Issue - how to wipe everything and re-install Windows 10


    I recently tried to install Linux on my Windows Surface Laptop for school purposes. However, I of course did it entirely wrong. I overrode Windows 10 with Linux and messed everything up. To fix this, my friend re-installed Windows 10 for me. Everything works fine; however, I have the ugly Linux screen when I first log in. I merely put a Band-Aid on the issue I caused, and I would like to just totally fix it.


    How can I completely wipe my computer I will back it up beforehand of Linux, Windows, and everything else, and then re-install Windows 10 the safe and right way.


    I totally learned my lesson, but I would like to get my laptop back to normal.


    Any help is appreciated!!

    modder I already used kill-disk. The deletion is done, I need to reinstall everything.
