  1. Hard drive maxed at 100% for no reason

My SSD I store big games on always gets maxed whenever I try to access application files on it, like for updating and such. Even if I end the application I was using it stays maxed until I restart my PC. Sometimes it creates problems booting up stuck on Gigabyte screen, with or without boot options or with other windows functions search, desktop, control panel, etc..chkdisk doesn't find anything, Disk Management doesn't load, and an Avira virus scan gets stuck going through the disk.https://snipboard.io/5F3dJ2.jpg https://snipboard.io/lpFjCM.jpg

  2. Overclock your hard drive!!!

Heres a much easier hack that I realized quite a few years ago that really does work!

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Hard drive with molex power connection.
    • PSU with more than 1 strand that has molex plugs on it.
    • Wire strippers, soldering iron if you're fancy, electrical tape if you're not.
    STEPS:
    • Take the strand of connectors from your PSU, and decide which one will be the donator for this overclocking adventure.
    • Cut the yellow and orange cables, then twist them together.
    • Find the power connector you've chosen as the overclocking connector, and release the orange cable from the connector. Now use your preferred method to bind them together, then place it back together.
    • Plug in a drive and feel the speed!
Congratulations! You've just overclocked your hard drive!

100% Disk Usage on Secondary Hard Drive

I'm not too sure entirely if this is Windows 10 or the hard drive, but recently on one of my secondary drives, the disk usage spikes up to 100% and stays at max for a long time. The capacity of the hard drive is 1TB and I've split it into two partitions.
I noticed this happens when I use the Dolphin Emulator and access files from the "GAME" partition I made or when I play games on the "GAME" partition. Windows doesn't lag, but the application(s) in question slow down to a standstill without any real reason
    it seems.

Thank you for your advice and help.

Hard drive maxed at 100% for no reason

    External Hard-drive at 100%

My external hard-drive is constantly running at 100% for no reason. I have no idea what could be causing this and the fact that it's an external hard drive makes it a bit harder to solve as I'm not sure how to check what's taking it up.

    Thanks!
