Windows 10: Hard drive popped up with a question mark and it is unaccessible and not visible in disk...

So I've been working with my computer normally - I was using FL Studio to make some music - and when I imported a new sample into the project, it didn't load properly. I tried to load the sample in many times again, but it didn't work. Noticed something isn't right, I go to the folder where I store all of my samples there are hundreds of them in there which are stored in different smaller folders and then found out that one of the folders which is also the one that contains most samples in there couldn't be opened. I tried to delete it but I can't. I restarted my PC to see if it could fix it

Hard Drive Question

Hit WindowKey+R, and type compmgmt.msc and hit enter.

In the left hand pane of the window that pops up, select Disk Management.

Your unallocated hard drive should show up there. Initialize, then format it. I suggest quick format. The long one is unnecessary.

 

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

 

External Hard Drive (WD Elements) is visible in PW but not in explorer
