Windows 10: Hard drive running almost constantly since last W11 update

What is it that since I did my last Windows 11 update a few days ago that the hard drive on my laptop seems to be almost constantly running???? Never had that issue before. Every time I open a document of any type it starts running and stays running. It goes off for a minute and starts running again.2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5022845 on 02/19/23

As per the description, I would suggest you to follow the below methods, and check.



Method 1: I recommend you to check the performance of the hard disk in the task manager.

To check follow the steps,

1. Press Windows + X, select Task manager.

2. Under processes tab, monitor the disk usage, and also check under the Performance tab.



Method 2: Also, follow the below steps to run the check disk.

• 
  Press Windows + X, select Command prompt (admin) mode.
  
• 
  Type in the following command which will run a check disk.
  

Chkdsk /r/f

3. Hit Enter
Disclaimer: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost.

Overclock your hard drive!!!

Heres a much easier hack that I realized quite a few years ago that really does work!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hard drive with molex power connection.
• PSU with more than 1 strand that has molex plugs on it.
• Wire strippers, soldering iron if you're fancy, electrical tape if you're not.

STEPS:

• Take the strand of connectors from your PSU, and decide which one will be the donator for this overclocking adventure.
• Cut the yellow and orange cables, then twist them together.
• Find the power connector you've chosen as the overclocking connector, and release the orange cable from the connector. Now use your preferred method to bind them together, then place it back together.
• Plug in a drive and feel the speed!

Congratulations! You've just overclocked your hard drive!

Since installing Windows 10 Anniversary Update a couple of days ago, it sounds like my hard drive is running constantly. I disabled Windows Search in services, but that didn't seem to help. Any ideas?
