Windows 10: Hard Drive Screws

Looking for hard drive screws for an Acer TC-220 PC

the hard drives get fix on the underside of the HHD, not the sides.
There's small rubber grommets thats in the case screw hole that the screws go through plus the screw has a small un-threaded shank on them.

Does anyone know the correct name for these and where i'd get them, tried ebay, but most are just normal HDD screws and won't be long enough

installing SSD w/o a mounting bracket ?!

If there are four screws in other drives like DVD or hard drive (in general all these drives use the same size of screw), you could always use one from each of these to attach the bracket to the SSD . . .

I'm assuming your Vaio is a laptop.

I had a similar problem, with constant crashes and "Critical process died" messages. It turned out to be a poor connection on the hard drive.

Power down, then remove the battery for extra security. Remove the hard drive compartment cover underneath, undo the securing screws and slide off the hard drive connector. Replace it, screw it all back together and power up.

It takes longer to describe than to actually do it.
