  1. Hard Drive Unsupported

I am facing following problems when I try to connect my Segate External Hard Disk(2TB) to my laptop which is of windows 10 version:
a)My hard disk is showing uninitialized in Computer Management and is not detected in My Computer. When I tried to change it to online or offline, it showed the error: "The operation could not be performed due to to an I/O error". Additionally, it showed Device Not Migrated in its properties section(I have all my windows update done up to date).
b)When I tried the diskpart commands in cmd, first I typed diskpart in command prompt. It shows around 132 PB size(in place of 2TB). When I ran "clear all" command to delete all partitions, it succeeded. When I exit diskpart and tried to list the disk again using 'list disk' command, it is not showing up. It shows up only when it is ejected and connected again.
c)When I installed EaseUS partition recovery master, it shows unsupported. The hard drive previously worked in almost all versions of windows including windows 10. When I tried surface test in this software, it showed some 7000 bad sectors which was not responding when it reached 12%.
d)When I ran sfc/scannow command, it didn't show up any errors.
e)In the device management option, I am not able to click Shrink volume option as it looks like it is disabled.

    :)

  2. Overclock your hard drive!!!

Heres a much easier hack that I realized quite a few years ago that really does work!

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Hard drive with molex power connection.
    • PSU with more than 1 strand that has molex plugs on it.
    • Wire strippers, soldering iron if you're fancy, electrical tape if you're not.
    STEPS:
    • Take the strand of connectors from your PSU, and decide which one will be the donator for this overclocking adventure.
    • Cut the yellow and orange cables, then twist them together.
    • Find the power connector you've chosen as the overclocking connector, and release the orange cable from the connector. Now use your preferred method to bind them together, then place it back together.
    • Plug in a drive and feel the speed!
Congratulations! You've just overclocked your hard drive!
