Windows 10: Hard drives C and D do not open

Hello. The problem is of the following kind. I open the my computer shortcut, double-click on the C or D drive to open it, but it throws me onto the desktop. If you do it through the right mouse button and open it in a new window, it opens. And inside the disks, folders also do this when you go into a folder / folder / folder and throws it on the desktop for 3 or 4. Folders from the desktop also do this, but rarely. I will be grateful for the answer and your help!

Hard Drives C: and D: being duplicated

I noticed today that I am showing duplicated hard drives

I always had 2 drives

drive C; for systems/programs/software

drive D: for personnel files working environment

Now I see 2 C: drives

and 2 D: drives

Using Windows 10 Version 1709

No C: but D: drive has all the data

To help you with your concern regarding the data on the drive C:, you're seeing the drive "C:" as the drive "D:" because you're booting your computer outside Windows. When booting your computer outside Windows, the system is reading the recovery partition
as drive C: and the data in the drive C: \ are listed on the drive D: \. Try to boot your computer and try to check again the data in the drive C: \ and see if the data are listed.

• Kindly verify the total amount of your storage drive.
• Are you using multiple hard drives?
• If not, then your hard drive is partitioned. Have you tried transferring the other files over to drive D:?
