  1. Hard drives working in My PC but invisible to Windows Storage

This problem is ALL over the internets but I can't find a single thread that includes a working fix. Solutions always seem to devolve into "IDK, reformat?" There has to be another way to get around Windows being stubborn about this.

The classic problem goes like this: I have 3 internal drives, C:\, D:\ and E:\, as well as external USB M:\. All drives show up just fine in My PC and Disk Management. I can install to them, I can use them, they're fine. All drives are noted as Healthy in Disk Management and all are formatted NTFS.

BUT, Windows Storage and Store both ignore D:\ and E:\. They are as good as invisible. All I see in Store, Settings > System > Storage > 'Change where new content is saved' is C:\ and M:\. I can't even see or uninstall anything on those drives from 'Add or remove programs' even though I've got boat loads of software on them working without issue.

I have tried my best to ignore this problem, but now I really need to move all 108 beefy GB of Microsoft Flight Simulator off of C:\ to a secondary drive, but the 'Move' tool in 'Add or remove programs' can't see the drives, so...

Any insight on this is very much appreciated!

  2. Hard Drive Storage

I have a 500Gb Hard Drive, running Windows 10 Pro version 1909. My c drive is nearly full, I have checked every area on the pc and nothing adds up to the 486Gb I'm supposed to have available. I have gone to Settings > System > Storage - it shows that 401Gb
is being taken up by Apps and features but when I click on this and show the list of installed apps with their sizes, I have added up the entire list and it comes to 25Gb total. It doesn't show what's eating up the rest of the 400Gb of space. I have deleted
everything I can and have only been able to free up 11Gb so far so my c drive is still showing red. At this point is the only other step to reload the pc, or does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be and how to fix?

    Thanks,

    Heather

  3. Hard drive filled with invisible files.

My C:\ drive, which holds the Windows 10 OS, programs data/files and a little bit of user data, shows that I have used roughly 600gb of space (first image below) on a 1TB SSD. When I use WinDirStat to see what's on that drive, it shows that I have about 120gb of data on it (second image). Could someone kindly suggest what could be taking up 480gb of space—and why it is invisible to WinDirStat. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
