Windows 10: Hardrive Gone!

Hello I downloaded a dodgy Java file which after I ran reset my pc and then my HDD drive deleted and everything i saved on it got deleted also. my HDD is properly plugged in as I checked it. So at the moment I have no HDD drive. Can anyone help?

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

This is what I have left now. I cant see a backup folder on hard disk . I will run what you suggest today and paste it back here..thanks

 

Windows 10 Automatic Repair Loop: Is my hardrive gone?

Hello,

I believe that my computer is dead, and I have tried everything I could find. However, in a last ditch effort to save the files on the computer, I am writing this post.

My turned my computer off for the night, and when I turned it on the next day it went into the automatic repair screen. No option seems to work and so I decided to check a few things through the Command Prompt utility from the "advanced Options" menu.

When in the command Prompt I went into diskpart utility and when I type the command "list disk" it says "There are no fixed disks to show"

when I use the "List volumes" command. It says "There are no volumes"

Does this mean I am out of luck and need a new hardrive?

Or is there something I am missing?

I would really like to rescue my files if able, I have pictures I would like to get off my hardrive.
