    Hardware encoder on Surface Pro X


    Hi, According to docs https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-qualcomm_snapdragon_microsoft_... MS SQ2 Adreno 690 GPU has support for hardware encoding to h264, hevc and vp8. Where we can find the API? I've Surface Pro X and in Task Manager I see that GPU has Video Encode, but I can't use it. I would like to see the API that would have allowed me to encode h264 on SPX. Video Decode can be done using DirectX, so I'm asking only for encoding.Screenshot from Task Manager: https://i.imgur.com/xqXcYwG.png

    Surface Pro X ARM

    Yes, for work needs I suggest going for Surface Laptop 7 or Surface Pro.

    However X is going to be a great device in the future when support for ARM64 arrives.
