Windows 10: "Hardware Error" Windows Crashing

Lately the past couple of weeks ive been having my computer screen freeze for a few seconds then crash and restart. I check reliability history and it said that it was a bugcheck failure for some hardware problem, specifically i think either graphics or display. I had this problem before but it just resolved itself and didnt happen for pretty much almost a year or so, but now its happening again. I feel like its not a graphics card or power issue since the crashes only actually happen when im just doing normal everyday stuff or just letting my computer sit, but never when i play games.Here

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

As per the description, the issue might be with faulty hardware. For better assistance I would like to ask if the issue persists only while using the DVD drives.

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter from the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
• Click on “Hardware and Devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Also, suggest you to follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Check if any of the driver has an exclamation mark within a yellow triangle.
• Expand the driver.
• Right click on the driver and select Update driver software.
