Windows 10: Hardware Error.

I've never had issues before but recently. When I'm playing Hunter Call of the Wild on steam. All the sudden my graphics card fans start to speed up and get very loud. Typically my computer is very quiet. I've checked the temperatures and they seem fine. All the sudden my screen goes black and says no input. While the fans continue to be loud. The only way to fix is force shutting down my computer. I have an Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 fairly new condition. Computer is clean and hardly has any dust. I'm not sure how to tell what is wrong with it. I seem to keep getting this in my problem details.

• Click Run the troubleshooter.

Additionally, this may also be happening due to outdated drivers. Follow the steps in this

article to update your drivers, then check if the issue persists.

Standard Hardware Security not supported

Hi Paul,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to run hardware troubleshooter and let us know if that helps.

Type "Troubleshooting" in the
Windows Search bar and press Enter.

1. Click on "View All" in the top left corner.
2. This will display the list of troubleshooters which are built-in in the computer. You can click on Hardware and Devices from the list and you can run the troubleshooter.

Also I would suggest to check if there are any update pending with regard to drivers and to do so, please follow steps mentioned below.

1. Search for Device Manager in
   Windows search bar.
2. Click on Device Manager.
3. Check if there Yellow Exclamation Point in the list of drivers.

Make sure Windows is up to date.
