Windows 10: Hardware ID is missing on a Asus N43Jf Laptop

Hello, I have a Asus N43Jf which I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I wanted to Install camera drivers so that i can normally use the camera but everytime I run the Installer it says: Failed to read hardware ID from INI file.Can anyone help me out?PS: Its in german but if you translate it, that will come out.

Hardware ID is missing on my laptop.

i have asus laptop and when i want to install driver it says ini file error hardware id is missing or something like that. and the screen aspect ratio is 16:9 but it show only on left 4:3, on right there is black columb maybie 2-3 inches. my laptop is asus
x52s. i think laptop forgot its configuration and how to change i then?

Fix #1:

Step 1:

Go to the search box next to the Windows icon and type CMD

Step 2:

Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

Step 3:

Type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic and press enter.

Step 4:

Click Next on the Hardware troubleshooter wizard.

Step 5:

Restart PC

Let me know the status after performing the above.

If you don't feel like trying that yourself, then all that I can suggest is that you ask you local computer store to help, or find a friend who understands windows computers, show them this thread and ask them to help you with the process of installing the
hotkey utility.
