Windows 10: Hardware keyboard inputs not working after shutdown

I have an issue with all keyboard inputs not working in Windows after shutdown.Running on Win 11 23H2.Using Roccat Aimo 121 keyboard and a Razer Naga with a onboard number pad.Keyboard uses out of box drivers and has been working over a year. Mouse has up to do date drivers from manufacturer and has had no other problems.Both the keyboard and mouse number pad stop working after I shutdown my computer.Locking, rebooting, or putting the system to sleep does not cause a problem.Rebooting and reseating USB are temporary work arounds.Issues has been going on for about 3 days and happens every time

Windows 10 "Shutdown Button" Not Working - I Give Up

Hello, Caxtin. I’ve not actually heard about this before - I’m assuming when you shut down and make a small mouse or keyboard input it turns on instantly? My guess on the fix is to disable Fast startup. Fast Startup is also known as Windows Hybrid Shutdown. Follow these steps to disable it:

1. Open the Control Panel
2. Go to Hardware and Sound → Power Options
3. Click on Choose what the power button doeschoose what the power button does
4. Go to Shutdown Settings
5. Uncheck the Turn on Fast Startup (recommended) optionturn off fast startup windows 10
6. Apply the changes.

If you can’t uncheck Fast Startup, click on the option Change settings that are currently unavailable. You could also run the shutdown command to see if that works (a method of troubleshooting if the above option doesn’t work) In the start menu type: Shutdown /s /t 0 - *Smile

Language keyboard input doesn't equal output

Language input may vary depending on the Input method set on your keyboard settings. To sort your concern, we suggest that you check if the desired input is set correctly by following these steps:

• Once you've selected the language, select Options.
