Windows 10: Hardware Reserve RAM

Hello my PC is keep hardware reserve 8GB RAM, I try everything but with no success. msconfig > boot > advanced options for maximum memory is uncheck. My bios is update to latest update. In bios both RAM sticks are show up with same values but it seems one of them is limited by bios because is see both RAM slots but one of them is like lock up by bios My motherboard is Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2 with installed Windows 11 Pro. My problem start when my power supply stop working and new power supply was installed plus new SSD to work my PC more smoothly. Before to change my power supply my old win

Half of RAM 'Hardware Reserved'

I have 32GB of RAM installed and half is "hardware reserved" by Windows. I've tried every suggestion I can find, including moving the modules around to different slots. My MB does not have onboard graphics. Specs:

• Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AX370M-DS3H (BIOS on latest firmware)
• CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X (upgraded from 1700x and it didn't help)
• RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE® LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C16 Memory Kit
• GPU: Nvidia RTX-2060 Super

The BIOS, Windows, CPUZ and HWInfo all show 32GB installed and both slots used, but Windows says "Hardware Reserved: 16.1GB". This was occurring on Windows 10. I am currently running Windows 11 (beta channel) and it didn't help. I also upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 7 1700 with no change. Pics: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

Welcome tomdsr! I appreciate your input and did not do anything regarding the SATA drives. I did rub the RAM modules with a white gentle eraser and cleaned them with an air compressor. Then I tried putting just one 16GB ram module in the different slots. I noticed that the computer only beeped at startup when the RAM was in slots 4 and 2. Interestingly, one of the RAM (A) had 69.9 Mb hardware reserved in slot 2 while the other (B) reserved 48.8 Mb in slot 2. In slot 4, RAM (A) had 48.8 Mb hardware reserved while RAM (B) had 69.9 Mb hardware reserved. I then tried to put the RAM modules in different order in slots 1 and 2 as stated in the module, but both ways showed 16.1 GB reserved for hardware. Someone wrote on Tom's Hardware site that they had the same issue. He resolved it by trying a single RAM at a time and then putting one module in slot 4 and another in slot 2. This puts them next to each other and is not what the manual suggests, but when I tried it, the Task Manager showed only 69.9 Mb reserved for hardware. I'm going to try it like this and hope it doesn't lead to other issues. Thanks to all of you for your help!
