Windows 10: Hardware reserved is 3.8 gb of 4 gb ram ddr3. Very slow computer

I had using 4 gb ram of ddr3. At first its ok. After i added next 4 gb its shows 4.8 gb is reserved and only 3.22 gb is usable. And then after few days i removed extra ram of 4 gb and now its show only 256 mb of ram usable and 3.8 gb is in hardware reserved. My computer is slow its take much time to open and while click any or any folder its take too much time. What happened what to do?

5 GB of RAM being hardware reserved

Good Day, I have a problem where my pc is running really slow (Its 8 GB ram) when I check the Task Manager it shows that 90% of my RAM and CPU are being used and only 3.4 GB of RAM is usable, When I check the Resource Monitor It shows that 5 GB of my ram is being hardware reserved. Any solutions ?. Thanks.

 

5.9 GB of 8 GB is listed as hardware reserved!?

My RAM is mem tested and all good. Running Windows 10. 5.9GB is listed as unusable, hardware reserved!!! How do I get it back? Should I want to? My system runs great; no errors. Still, I assume that 5.9 out of 8 GB is excessive.

note: the common "fix" to clear max mem box in msconfig does not work! Tried it. My bios has no memory configuration settings. Where did my RAM go? Anyone, please, have a solution that does work?

 

Ram upgrading: 4+4=8 gb or 4+8=12 gb?

I am using dell inspiron 5447

windows 10, 4 gb ram installed originally,

Intel i5, 2.4Ghz.

What would be better choice 4+4=8 gb or 4+8=12 gb?
