Windows 10: Hardware Reserved memory at 2.1 GB

Guys I need help
I need to disable my integrated gpu Cos I believe it is occupying my ram

My specs
HP Laptop 8 GB ram

Amd r5 3550h integrated Vega 8 gfx 2 GB

Nvidia gtx 1650 4gb

I've tried all methods in msconfig(max memory), regedit(clearcache) , my HP bios shows no options for editing pci settings.I am not able to solve this issue

Why is 8.1 GB reserved for hardware?

Recently I added 8 GB of ram to my machine so that it would run Photoshop more smoothly. But when I installed the memory and ran the program I realized that 8.1 GB of 16 GB is reserved for hardware making only 5 GB available to Photoshop which is not enough.
So I wanted to know if there was a way to reduce the reserve and make more memory available to my system.

Machine specs.

Ryzen 1600

16 GB Crucial memory

2 TB hard drive

gtx 1050 ti

Got that Nikola. The error you are getting which is the "hardware reserved" is almost related to BIOS. Since the previous steps did not work, let us check if the steps below will make any difference on the issue:

1. Delete some files that you are no longer using.

2. Re-instate the old BIOS. If it is still not working, install the newer BIOS instead.

3. Check possible issues with the physical RAM. Check whether you have bad memory modules and if standoff cards are used. Make sure that the memory arrangement is correct.

Hardware reserve memory

I am using a Ryzen 5 3500u processor with Windows 10

As per the specification RAM 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (onboard)

for Hard Drive: 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

I see 2.1 GB as memory reserve for Hardware. the manufacturer HP says this how the product has been manufactured. But i have that such a high reserve memory is required and it cannot be brought down.

I wish to know if there is any way I can bring down the reserve so that more memory becomes available for use.
