  1. Hardware Reserved Ram 32Gb installed 16Gb In Use

I just bought one more stick of ram off amazon (Ballistix Gaming Memory 16Gb DDR4 3200), I installed the ram to my recommended slot (a1). I opened up task manager it said, Memory 32 GB 15.9 GB usage. I checked bios it said 16 GB capacity but it showed it sees my two sticks of ram.

    Things I tried,
    mcconfig
    updating bios
    windows memory diagnostics (No Error)
trying out each stick of ram (both functional)
    reseating cpu
    changing clock speeds of ram

    My specs
    Cpu Ryzen 7 2700x
    Motherboard ASUS X470-Pro
    Gpu GTX 1050
    Ram 2x16GB Ballistix DDR4 3200
    HDD Boot

Ps: I don't understand how to work out this UEFI Bios (IF this post is in the wrong section please move it!)

    :)

  2. Win 10 Pro reporting low usable RAM vs installed RAM.

I have 32gb of RAM installed. Sometimes Win 10 reports 24gb available other times it reports 16gb available. The installed RAM remains the same at 32gb. Sometime 8gb is hardware reserved and other times 16gb is hardware reserved. The fluctuation is annoying
and 8-16gb for hardware reservation seems very excessive. It is a fresh install of Win 10 Pro 64-bit. What the heck is going on here?

Hardware Reserved Ram usage is high

I had 16gb installed when i noticed that the useable memory was 8gb and hardware reserved was 8 gb. So i put in another 8 gb stick. With this the same result 16gb useable and 8 gb hardware reserved.

And no i dont use shared video memory..

The gpu itself has 6 gb vram. So the system using it for video isnt the case.

  4. Hardware Reserved Ram 32Gb installed 16Gb In Use

Windows 10 Pro x64 32gb ram installed but only 16gb usable

I just upgraded to a 500GB SSD. Installed Windows 10 Pro x64. I have 32gb of ram. But windows 10 x64 is saying 16gb is usable. The UEFI motherboard bios sees the 32gb of ram. I did all the trouble shooting the motherboard manufacturer said to do, but
still didn't fix my problem. Anyone else having this problem? If so can you please inform me on how to fix this problem?
