Windows 10: Has anyone been able to solve home networking in 24H2?

Okay, so I've successfully installed 24H2 7 times so far with one exception. I told both machines to allow full network access with no passwords. I have used my current administrator password to log in to both machines, which doesn't matter. I have total internet access but no home network access. I have tried everything that has been suggested in the forum. Should I just wait several months for Microsoft to fix this issue since I think at this point it's their issue, not mine? Although I am the one suffering from the slings and arrows of Microsoft programmers. Any suggestions? Device nam

Solved! or fixed! or whatever! I was able to absorb the extra space in a 3-step process:

1. resize the System Reserved partition to use the space after it
2. reboot
3. stretch the M: data partition to absorb the space after it using the EXTEND -- not RESIZE -- command

System rebooted and working normally. THX all.

There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

 

What is this network device?


This is a weird problem I've been seeing in windows for years now (not just windows 10). I've been unable to figure out what it is, but we're not alone in this, I did some research a while back and a lot of other people were seeing it as well.

Some suggest it's a bug in the network stack. Some suggest it's neighbors who are connecting somehow, but not able to use the network. Regardless, it's not an uncommon problem and doesn't seem to be anything worry about. Here's some examples:
