    Has anyone had problems with OBS Virtual camera on Windows 10?


    There was a some glitch when OBS Studio Desktop was updating their version to a new with build-in Virtual Camera, the same time I had uninstalled the OBS, and the OBS Virtual Camera had yet remained in Windows Programs as default with blocking Notebook Integrated Camera for any stream, for example, on YouTube, appearing in browser permission box for camera as default. The problem was resolved by me accidentally, when I had installed the OBS Studio again, then after using some time the OBS, I had uninstalled OBS again, and now I noticed accidentally that the Notebook Integrated camera came b

    OBS not saving YouTube program captured using Virtual Camera

    I know that in the past I was able to use the OBS Virtual Camera to record and save a YouTube video, but no longer. That last time was probably two years ago, and I've forgotten the details.

    I can successfully get the YouTube link using the Share feature in YouTube, and inputting that into OBS. And I can START the Virtual Camera to capture the result. When I have finished I STOP the Virtual Camera and then exit the program. However, I don't have any video output in \users\userid\videos. I've searched and searched and searched, but I can't find any specific instructions about using OBS the right way.

    How do I make my OBS virtual camera my main Windows Camera.

    I do not have a USB Webcam and I use OBS Virtual Cam to stream video.

    Some apps only recognize the standard USB webcam as an input source and I don't know how to switch to my virtual camera.

    Can you help me use my virtual cam as the default camera for windows?

    Problem using OBS to record UK television from my screen

    Regarding digital rights - I can't see that this is the problem given it works on one laptop and not the other, unless the companies are targetting me alone *Sad. And it worked fine for me until a few weeks ago. But thanks for the suggestion of using a VM, definitely something to consider. I think my next step will be to uninstall OBS and see if that changes anything.
