I won't go into why I made the horrible move to join the Windows Insider program, but I know that I want out and have not been able to make that happen. I do know about using the setting to opt out of future previews, but I want to really, truly be done with the program. I have tried using the "leave the program" button, and that has been disastrous each time. It tells me I have left the program, but in fact all that happens is that I lose my "opt out of build previews" setting and once again previews of Windows 11 start trying to invade my updates. My only workaround has been to pause the upd

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Has ANYONE Successfully Left Windows Insider COMPLETELY? :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

Windows 10 upgrade can’t complete due to error: “Some apps need to be uninstalled.”

After completing the Malicious Software Removal Tool run (~35 hours) and completing these steps to locate a remove the hidden Trend Micro folder, I was able to successfully install the latest Windows Insider update! Thanks once more Edison for your expertise
    and suggestions!
