Windows 10: Has anyone tried going into sleep while running a media file? Does the media file resume as...

Hey folks,I have a laptop and there's been a sporadic instance - like once a month - where I close the lid I set it to sleep in the middle of any media file and the file does not resume playing and gets frozen. I tried on VLC and MPV and both ran into this issue. It's not the biggest deal but sometimes I close my lid habitually and come back to a frozen media file. It seems the media player itself is fine, however. I can re-open and close the media player and it is fixed.Any help would be much appreciated!

Media/File Server on the cheap

Hey guys,

My PC is currently filling up and i have 4 HDDs.

I use my PC as a media server as well as a gaming rig.

What I want/need to do is build an external enclosure/rig that is cheap money wise and effective as a file/media server that is DNLA compliant. It would be nice to be able to run my Usenet through it and control it via web interface and remote connect. I would use Linux if a step by step guide is available for setting up the DNLA server and such as well.

This is my first foray into this field of PCs. Help please! ^_^

Have you tried running the troubleshooter for WMP? If not, we suggest that you try to run the troubleshooter and
see if it helps. To run the troubleshooter, follow these steps:

• 
  On the search bar, type
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on
  Programs.
  
• 
  Under
  Media
  Player, click on
  Windows Media Player Settings
  and
  Windows Media Player Library.
