Windows 10: Has MS fixed Remote Desktop to work with passwordless Microsoft accounts yet?

Maybe MS could put a pause on pushing passwordless accounts and focus on updating the existing apps to work with a passwordless MS account? How to go passwordless with your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support that article is making the rounds again. I enjoy the ease-of-use passwordless offers but am irritated that Remote Desktop does not work with it... still. I've tried all posted workarounds and the only fix I have found is to switch back to a password.

I can't make the Remote Desktop works with my Microsoft account. It seems it does not work with Accounts that have passwordless option ON. Could you please confirm this information?

Yes, you are correct. Remote Desktop does not currently support sign-ins with Microsoft accounts that have the passwordless option turned on. To use Remote Desktop, you will need to set a password for your Microsoft account and use that password to sign in.
