Windows 10: Has the low memory notification dialog been removed in Windows at some point?

At least in the past, you used to get a little dialog box warning you about the system getting low on memory.

Such dialog box does not seem to appear anymore. In the System Log, I do get the message "Windows has diagnosed a low memory condition", which is nice, but is not seen when you are normally using the desktop. Then eventually things start crashing due to low memory.

I have 8 GB RAM and 8 GB swap (fixed size).

Has the dialog been removed, or is there something in my system that prevents it from being displayed?

Low Memory Notification


I already looked at another low memory notification thread and it didn't really help. I have a gaming computer and I can't even play games on it now. I updated to the most recent build of Windows 10, and started getting this issue. You can see my specs on my profile.

System Maintenance Troubleshooter. This will automatically detect issues that might affect system performance. Follow the steps below:

• Type Troubleshooting in Search.
• Select Troubleshooting Control Panel.
• Click View all.
• Click System Maintenance.
• Hit Next.

I would also suggest you to run the System Maintenance troubleshooter.

• 
  Press Windows and X key together and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on View all option on the left side of the Windows,
  select System Maintenance.
  
• 
  Click next and follow the
  on-screen instructions.
