Has the recent Windows Update from 24th of August 2023 triggered BitLocker for anyone else?

I ran an update on my Dell Inspirion 15 that runs on Windows 11 on 24/08/23 in the evening and went to sleep.Next morning, when trying to access my PC, I was confronted by a BitLocker recovery screen. It says: BitLocker needs your recovery key to unlock your drive because Secure Boot policy unexpectedly changed. I have not knowingly set this up and I wasn't aware of any key.Following the prompts of the official Microsoft site, I logged into my Microsoft account where it is supposed to be held - no devices are registered there and no keys are saved. I obviously have no print out of the key as I

Recent update August 8, 2023 KB5029263 and KB5028948 caused Explorer to freeze and system unusable

On 12th Aug 2023 my system was automatically updated with the patches KB5029263 [1] and KB5028948 [2] and I noticed that the explorer could no longer open any folder or a file. The application loaded up, but it just would not work. I even tried installing alternate file explorer for windows 11, but as soon as I try to right click on a file, even that would just hang (spinner would just run forever).

Few more details on the issue - As soon as I click on a folder within File Explorer (Microsoft explorer) then the spinner would just turn up and the app would go into "not responding" mode. Even after repeatedly terminating or restarting the issue would persist. Same issue with restarting machine multiple times.

    Tried fixes:

    1. Restart Explorer
    2. Restart Machine
    3. Check for windows update
    4. sfc /scannow (as administrator)
    5. alternate file explorer
I tried multiple solution on Microsoft support site to online guides, but none helped. I did find an issue with `sfc /scannow` with the Bluetooth driver but it did not fix the issue. The only thing which helped was to uninstall the recent updates [1], [2] and the system was back to normal. My system configuration is as follows:

Windows: Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1992

OS Name: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro

    [1] August 8, 2023—KB5029263 (OS Build 22621.2134) - Microsoft Support

[2] August 8, 2023-KB5028948 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 - Microsoft Support
