Windows 10: Has there been a fix for the re-sizing and re-positioning of folders and files when PC...

I upgraded my dual monitors a couple of months ago and noticed this issue right away. If you're not familiar with it: when PC goes to sleep, all folders and files get moved to one monitor and get re-sized (sometimes shrink completely). One monitor is connected via DisplayPort and the other via HDMI. I did some research at the time, and found that it's a common issue with this setup and there was no official fix at that time. Has this changed? I tried a couple of solutions that were mentioned (can't recall which ones) and they didn't help. Has anyone been able to find a working fix? It's quite annoying to have to resize and move everything back every single time..

Windows 10 - Folder Size & Position resets to last Open Folder

I cannot find a setting in the Folder settings where I can set my folder size, type, position to be unique from other folders. When I close one folder and then open another the new folder inherits the same size and position of the last open folder.

Is there a way to change this?

The icon settings for each folder are saving properly. So if I want to see a list of files in one folder but have large icons in other folder there is no problem.

So this question is limited JUST to the size and position of the folder when its opened. Seems like XP had a setting where each folder could have its own unique position and size. Does Windows 10 have the same options? If not why not?

Second of all, it's so nice to see that this section ain't dead.

I have a few questions/suggestions, maybe you'd want to see ...

• maybe you rename Get Folder button caption to something more intuitive? Add Folder, Get Folder Size, Check Folder Size or something like that?
  
• Could you add subfolder files to the right pane? (it can be a tickbox with include sub dirs)
  
• maybe you also add export list to excel?
  
• there's delete file button maybe you add delete folder button too?
  
• and finally maybe you can add UP button for directories?

Thanks buddy! Yea, this section's not dead. Kreij and I have big plans for this section. I don't want to give nothing away, but we have some bigger projects down the road. *Toast :toast: I feel I'm pretty good at coding with different languages, but I'm well behind Kreij's level of experience with those other Languages. I've been working on those other languages, and soon I'll feel comfortable enough to start, and not feel like I'm holding the project back. *Toast :toast:

By subfolders you mean add all the folders in the left panel to the right panel? Those folders are all the subfolders in the "Get folder".
