Windows 10: Has Windows 10 Feature Update 22H2 removed the Calculator App + others

Has Windows 10 Feature Update 22H2 removed the Calculator App + Paint + others?I have two PCs both running Windows 10 but one is at 22H2 and the other is at 21H2.The 22H2 machine has lost the standard Calculator App and the Calandar App and the Clock App and Paint 3D...there are so many it is difficult to list them all.Using the search bar I can find some of the 'missing' Apps Paint, Pant 3D... but the Calculator App appears to have gone entirely.What is going on here? Has my particular update been corrupted? Why can I search for Apps but they no longer have a shortcut in the Start menu? Why

I think this is a step in the right direction. I use Calculator daily.

 

How to get the Windows 10 2022 Update version 22H2 Win Update

If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.

Do dism and sfc /scannow commands before and/or after installing it.

 

Window's 10 Calculator won't launch

Hi Dan,

There could be a number of factors as to why you are having issues launching the Calculator app on Windows 10. This could be caused by a software conflict or due to the application itself.

You may consider resetting the Calculator app. To do this, refer to the steps below:

• Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & feature.
  
• Click the Calculator app from the list and then choose Advanced options.
  
• Click Reset.

If the issue persists, I suggest that you create a new user account. This is for us to check if the issue is due to a corrupted user profile. To do this, select the Start button, then select
Settings > Accounts > Family & other people > Add someone else to this PC.
